Senior IT Governance, ITSM & CMDB Consultant (f/m/d)

For a project we are looking for a Senior IT Governance, ITSM & CMDB Consultant (f/m/d).
Your tasks will be:
  • Analyzing the currently existing IT- Lifecycle Management and consulting and implementation an updated Version for the “Infrastructure 2.0”-Project
  • Information exchange and coordination is essential with technical architects of the project alongside the integration of defined services in operation. “Lessons Learned” based approach of current Infrastructure Design
  • Design and updates to service requests and their workflows within Ivanti Heat Service Management Tool. These workflows are used within various Standard Service Requests
  • Propose solutions to increase the level of automation that incorporates the integration of tasks of all necessary departments involved in the service delivery as well as the surrounding tool landscape (e.g. provisioning of IT infrastructure such as server deployment and firewall rules)
  • Outline a holistic workflow design that depicts the integration of the present systems
  • Creation of a roadmap that illustrates the major milestones, work packages and tasks for future implementation
  • Revision of the existing CMDB systems and proposal on a centralized CMDB service for INFRA2.0
  • Revision and definition of governance processes for INFRA2.0
Following Know-how is required:
  • Experience in various different IT automation concepts and tools
  • Min. 5 years+ experience with IT Lifecycle Management
  • Min. 5 years+ experience with CMDB systems
  • Min. 3 years+ experience with CRITIS environment requirements – grid operator sector (EU NIST 2.0/IT Sicherheitsgesetz)
  • A broad technical ITSM/ Ivanti HEAT and governance experience is required
  • Understanding of ITIL concepts
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence
  • GitOps know-how
  • IT-Infrastructure Architecture expertise
  • Languages: German (C1) and English (B2)
Order Type: Contract / Freelance/100-120 days per annum
Location: Remote (90%)/ Berlin (10%)
Start: 14.04.2025
Duration: 31.12.2025 (with option of contract extension)
