Project Manager (f/m/d) OSPO

For an international customer we are currently looking for a Project Manager (f/m/d) OSPO.

Your tasks will be:

• Establish an Open Source Project Office (OSPO), driving the first implementation phase of the Open Source methodology

• Define and execute the open source strategy

• Convince the management to make the cultural shift to open source methodologies

• Coach and train the projects teams to adopt Open Source best practices

• Help and train the project teams to use, contribute and implement Open Source solutions

• Guide the business to define their ambitions and write down the decisions on a transparent platform

• Help the project team by reviewing the documentation and the public messages

• Help the project teams to create and maintain a community and act as a moderator

• Ensure that internal stakeholders are working in the same direction to adopt an Open Source culture

• Monitor and adapt the project budget and resources

Following Know-how is required:

• Project management skills for agile project management and agile environment

• Previous experience in training, coaching or similar and provide some recommendations letter or references of previous project / missions (7-10 years experiences)

• Evangelist about new technologies

• Language: English (excellent in verbal and written C1), German is a plus

Order Type: Freelance /Contract

Location: Remote (95%) / Berlin (5%)

Start: September 2024

Duration: 2 years (with option of contract extension)
