IT Architect (m/f/d) in the Railway Sector

For a project we are looking for an IT Architect (m/f/d) in the Railway Sector.

Your tasks are:

• Act as IT Architect within a vehicle development project, focusing on designing and coordinating IT system architectures and integrations
• Develop functional and technical concepts for subsystems and interfaces (e.g., network, passenger counting system, video surveillance, third-party modules like lighting or sanitary)
• Coordinate and align solutions with internal stakeholders and external partners, including customers and suppliers
• Support the technical integration of multiple IT-based systems throughout the entire V-cycle, ensuring consistency of hardware, software, and network components
• Translate customer requirements into system requirement specifications and ensure their implementation
• Monitor progress, evaluate development results, and ensure compliance with technical and quality standards

Your Know-how:

• Strong experience in IT architecture and system integration
• Solid understanding of communication and network technologies (e.g., LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth)
• Broad knowledge of software and system architectures, plus hardware/software integration
• Familiarity with relevant railway standards (e.g., EN 50155, UIC 568, TSI PRM / LOC&PAS) is an advantage
• Fluent in German and English
