Senior Python Developer (f/m/d)

Your tasks will be:

• analysis and implementation of defined data ingestion and processing components as part of agreed deliverables (e.g. input and output data used in system operations)
• design, refinement and implementation of automated data import routines as part of defined work packages, including documentation, parsing, validation, error handling and handover
• design and evolution of database structures and data models
• analytical support activities limited to the scope of agreed deliverables and project objective

• development and enhancement of dashboards and visualizations displaying operational KPIs and metrics, including documentation and handover
• implementation of comparison views, trend analysis, and anomaly detection logic based on agreed requirements
• configuration of notification and alerting mechanisms in case of detected deviations
• generation of analytical outputs and reports

• Provision of senior-level Python full-stack engineering and consulting services within the agreed technology landscape
• Deployment and configuration of components on container?based platforms, including documentation and knowledge transfer
• CI/CD pipelines, and runtime troubleshooting

Following know-how is required:

• Senior level experience in Python backend development (Python 3.11 or newer, ideally Python 3.13 readiness)
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), including data modeling and query optimization
• Experience with data pipelines (ETL/ELT), incremental data loading, logging, and alerting
• Experience with dashboarding and visualization technologies (e.g. Python Dash, React-FastAPI or comparable solutions)
• Practical experience with DevOps tooling and workflows (e.g. Azure DevOps)
• Experience working with container?based environments using Kubernetes platforms and Helm charts
• Experience with report generation (Word / PDF)
• Experience within the energy sector is a big plus
• Fluent German and English (min. C1 or comparable)
