Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) for P005-1 X-COM Platform
For a project we are looking for an Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) for P005-1 X-COM Platform.
Your tasks will be:
- Development of firmware in the field of real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS) for microcontroller platforms (STM32)
- Lightwight IP Integration with the Microcontroller HAL-Layer (STM 32-MC)
- Implementation and testing of TCP/IP-based protocols with a focus on robustness and power failure resilience
- Low-level programming including interrupt control and DMA transfers
- Execution of tests for network stability and analysis on the TCP/IP layer
- Optional: Use of cybersecurity test tools (e.g., Achilles, Siesta) and hardening of Ethernet communication
Following Know-how is required:
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable field
- Experience in embedded software development, particularly with FreeRTOS, STM32, and network protocols
- Experience with X-COM Hardware
- Knowledge of low-level programming (C, interrupts, DMA)
- Experience with tools such as IAR Embedded Workbench, J-Link Debugger, and Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with agile development methods and tools such as Polarion
- Ideally, experience with security requirements in embedded environments
